VETERANS, SERVICE MEMBERS, NATIONAL GUARD AND RESERVE:Registration is now closed but Veterans are strongly encouraged to join the event at the COBO Center. We have jobs to fill and we want you to fill them! The Hiring Fair is free and you will need proof of military status to enter. Any of the following IDs are acceptable: military ID card, VA ID, VA hospital card, DD214, or benefits letter.

  • We organize the jobs by VA, government and private sector employers – you are encouraged to apply for as many jobs as you feel you are qualified.
  • Many employers will schedule walk-in interviews onsite.
  • We encourage you to visit as many employer booths onsite as possible and discuss your career interests!

ABOUT THE VETERAN HIRING FAIR
The Veteran Hiring Fair is part of the National Veterans Conference (NVC) in Detroit, Michigan, from June 26 - 28. For more information, please visit: http://www.nationalveteransconference.com/. Please be aware that the 54th Annual Target Fireworks show will occur on Monday, June 25, 2012. Road closures in the downtown waterfront area will begin as early at 5:00 pm.
